Engaging From Start to Finish
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the genre, this book pulls you in and doesn’t let go. Sharp writing and great pacing. My only criticism is the name of the main character, Jake Fantastic. Seems a bit silly, but still a great story! I’d recommend it.

Made Me Revisit My Vinyl Collection
This book reignited my love for the classics. I found myself putting on records after each chapter. The scene where he save John Lennon gave me goosebumps. Although the author uses alternate names I’ts 100% obvious who he’s writing about. John Lemon - Paul McCarthy? I wonder if Yoko finds out about this book she’ll try to get him to take it down? Overall great read! Loved the Concert for Global Good chapter. The Beats or Beatles reunion gave me the chills!

Perfect Blend of Facts and Fiction
I appreciated how it wasn’t just dry history. There’s heart and reverence on every page. This is rock history told with soul. But if this book gets big I’m sure the author will get ridiculed for some of it. Like the Brian Jones chapter. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

Great Read for Anyone Who Loves 60s-70s Rock
This book is a treasure trove for any rock 'n' roll enthusiast. It captures the spirit of an era, and has a lot of heart. Jakes friendship with John Lennon is great! The Van Lennon chapter was hilarious! Loved every page.

Good Read, Just Not Groundbreaking
I enjoyed the book, but it didn’t tell me much I didn’t already know. But to be fair, I've studied the British Invasion for years. Still, a well-written and enthusiastic look at the era. Had some great chapter stories. The Brian Jones thing was interesting and I actually did a bit of research afterwards, all true. Pretty crazy how the old guard hated rock-n-roll back in the day. Probably how I feel about the crap music coming out today. Good book, won't dissapoint!

Rich Content, Slightly Slow at Times
The depth of information is impressive, though some sections felt a little slow. Still, a worthwhile read for any rock fan. The author uses alternate names, but very obvious as to who hes talking about. There was a funny scene with “Rob Dillan” where he insults Jake’s girlfriend, but I won’t ruin the story. Definitely worth a read.

From start to finish an engaging story of music, love and fantasy
The author's words transport you into the book so you are living it too. A must read for all.
